Export Hub Roadshow: Could Your Business Access The World?

Published by Alison Gittins

Across the world, customers are looking for your products and services. In a globalised, digitised world, the potential for North East companies to find new customers and lucrative markets beyond the UK has never been greater.

Companies that sell overseas are more productive, innovative, profitable and sustainable. So why not?

Making the move into a new market can feel like a leap into the unknown. Where do you even find these opportunities?

This interactive workshop has the aim of de-mystifying exporting. We will show how companies can identify international opportunities and soon start achieving positive results.

Even the smallest company can envisage representation in another country. With the right support and some funding, in the next few years a new exporter could be the next micro multi-national.

During the workshop we will address the 6 key export questions:

•        What is export?
•        Why Internationalise?
•        Which barriers concern you? european union
•        When should you start?
•        How much – costs/prices?
•        Where in the world should you go?

Delegates will learn about the all the relevant areas of exporting and will be reassured about what they need to know and the aspects that can be delivered and facilitated by banks, freight forwarders, translation companies, and other export service providers.

“It’s not what we know, but what you need to know”

Delegates will come away from the workshop more confident about developing their overseas business and the support that is available through UKTI and our partner organisations

Whether you have already decided to export or simply wish to step back and consider your strategic options – we can help you to consolidate your thoughts and processes. This event is FREE and refreshments are provided.
