    How you can help

Let us know, for example, your good news about the:

    • Successes you are currently celebrating – especially if it involves working with other Business Club members.
    • Opportunities you are seeing for your business, or others in the region.

    But also:

    • Challenges your business is facing from external factors
    • Desired changes, such as in government or regional policy, that would help your business.

How we will use what you tell us

As one of the North East’s leading business membership organisations, Durham Business Group is always very pleased to be represented on the board of County Durham Economic Partnership, with our CEO Alison Gittins attending and contributing to the regular meetings.

The Economic Partnership sets and reviews the strategy for economic development and regeneration activity in County Durham, with representation from a wide range of voices, including the private sector, voluntary and social enterprise, statutory agencies, and elected representatives.

Alison regularly updates fellow Economic Partnership board members on the latest Durham Business Group activity, but we are keen to also use this important platform to give more voice to our members, and their successes, concerns and ideas.

We will use what you tell us to inform and enrich our reports to the Economic Partnership, building on what we see and hear every day from our own conversations and with members, clients and partners.

We hope also to be able to include a regular round-up of the prevailing mood and trends in our newsletter, to deliver extra value to our community and spark further discussion and thought.

We will, of course, not mention you or your business by name in anything that we share publicly, unless it is a success story that you have given us permission to disseminate more widely.
