Young innovators & entrepreneurs invited to apply for free places at world-class forum
The ninth annual Thinking Digital Conference returns 10/11 May to the Sage Gateshead.
Thinking Digital is an annual gathering of innovators, creatives, thinkers and entrepreneurs where we share insights, ideas, experiences and stories that have the power to shape our future.
The event kicks off with a choice of great workshops on Tuesday 10 May taking place at select locations around Newcastle, and is followed by a full day of inspiring talks from game-changing speakers on the 11 May at the stunning Sage Gateshead.
Creative and innovative young thinkers and entrepreneurs are being offered the opportunity to attend the event free of charge as honored guests of Thinking Digital & their partners.
A minimum of 20 places are being provided for successful applicants to the Emerging Talent Fund as part of the conference after the runaway success of this project at Thinking Digital Newcastle & Manchester 2015 & London 2016.
The Emerging Talent Fund team wants to hear from the cream of new talent from around the UK. To apply, you must be able to make your case to the Thinking Digital panel of judges that you’ve got the right stuff to make the most of the new ideas and networking opportunities that attending the event will create.
Thinking Digital’s Herb Kim said: “We’re looking for promising innovators, tinkerers, researchers, communicators and students in technology, science, entrepreneurship, innovation and/or creativity.
“We want to know about what inspires you. All that’s needed is to submit your application in writing and a short video of 60 seconds or less, telling us about your ideas, aspirations and ambitions for the future.”
A judging team made up of representatives from Thinking Digital and their event partners will assess the entries. The successful applicants will receive a pass free of charge to the events and workshops, and a limited number of travel and accommodation bursaries will also be available for successful applicants outside the North East.
Attendance at Thinking Digital will give young entrepreneurs, innovators & techies the chance to connect with other Emerging Talents, share ideas and inspiration and build new relationships. Selected introductions to career opportunities will also be made available to Emerging Talents as appropriate.
