Have you followed Durham Business Group on LinkedIn?

Published by Graham Soult

We know that LinkedIn is a platform where many of our Durham Business Club members make new connections – and it’s a also great place for following up and taking forward those relationships initiated over a coffee at our events.

Most people have a personal LinkedIn profile, but the Company Pages function has traditionally been somewhat hidden away, with posts not tending to be seen by many people. However, as the visibility of LinkedIn company posts has improved in the last year or two, more and more businesses have been claiming their Pages.

Our LinkedIn Company Page

We’re always looking for new ways to communicate with our members and clients – and ways to win new ones! – and you can now follow our own LinkedIn Company Page for Durham Business Group at

We’ll be using that Page to post updates on all DBG’s news and events, covering Durham Business Club, The Executive Group, and Durham Office Services – complementing all the other ways in which we already keep our members and friends informed, such as our Twitter, Facebook, and monthly newsletter.

…and our LinkedIn Group

Don’t forget that we also have a LinkedIn Group for Durham Business Club, at LinkedIn Groups have been around for ages, and are different from Company Pages in that they can be created around any topic, and let any member post there – not just the administrator or owner.

Our LinkedIn Group is open to any North East-based business people, whether members of Durham Business Club or not. So, feel free to use that space to share your own success stories, ask fellow members for advice, or discuss the important issues that affect our day-to-day work as business owners or managers.
