As an organisation that supports and champions businesses – and as a business ourselves – Durham Business Group recognises and shares the concern around coronavirus (COVID-19). The Government has now recommended limiting all non-essential social contact; therefore, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our upcoming programme of Durham Business Club and Executive Group events. Be assured, we will do our best to rearrange, ensuring these venues are not cancelled, but postponed, and we have an exciting line up of future events planned once, hopefully, things return to normal.
This is a testing time for all of our businesses, and one where we must come together and support one another, just not in person. While we understand the importance and value of face-to-face meetings and networking events, we will, for now, put all our energy into supporting and providing value to our member businesses in other ways. Most obviously, we will continue sharing our members’ news and social media posts – even more than usual – at a time when good news is much needed!
We ask you to continue to monitor the situation with the latest Government and NHS information and advice.
