After 15 long months we’re so excited to meet our members in person!
Join us for a wild breakfast and a wildlife wellbeing walk around Rainton Meadows and Joe’s Pond nature reserves. Find out how Durham Wildlife Trust manage their sites for wildlife, how they educate and engage with their members and what you can do to support reversing ecological decline and conserving wildlife in our region.
Following breakfast at 9 am, we will enjoy a short walk with good paths at a beautiful time of year. However, do wrap up ready for changing weather conditions and wear comfortable footwear. As numbers are limited to 30, with current guidelines and social distancing, we must restrict this event to DBC Members only, on a first come, first served basis, and encourage you to send one member per company. A waiting list will be available and, of course many more events are being planned, while we also continue our online Remo events for those of you who prefer not to venture out just yet.
You can also check out the FAQs we’ve prepared to help answer any queries you might have as face-to-face events make a cautious, but hopefully permanent, return.
